Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center – Building “E”
17360 Coit Road, Dallas, TX 75252
Shaded out? Do you have areas in your landscape where nothing grows because there is not enough sunlight? Come learn a new way to landscape for the shade including how to design and implement your shade garden for maximum effect.Click here for directions.
Trees are an important investment to your property. They give you energy savings in your home or business, water savings in your landscape, and value to the resale of your property. Selecting the right tree and planting it properly helps improve the sustainability of your home or business landscape. This program teaches proper watering, pruning, common insect issues and diseases. A tree list will be provided.
Daniel Cunningham, a horticulturalist with the Water University at Texas A&M AgriLife Research in Dallas will be the instructor.
Space is limited, please register online at SaveDallasWater.com or by calling us at (214) 670-3155.

We encourage you to download the Dallas 311 application and use it to report code violations and to submit service requests. Click here to find out more about the application: Dallas 311
Neighbors–If you are new to the neighborhood, you may have wondered why there is a large, vacant lot at the corner of Forest & Nuestra.
For several years, the City of Dallas has planned to relocate the Preston Royal Branch Library to this location in our neighborhood. A design firm has already created conceptual drawings of how the new library might look:
You can also find more images here: Preston Royal Replacement Branch Library
But this library will NOT be built unless bond funds are allocated for its construction. We encourage you to contact our City Councilmember and City Manager to let them know that you strongly support the addition of such a wonderful amenity to our neighborhood. Decisions about bond funding will be made very soon!
District 13 Councilmember Jennifer Gates
Carolyn Williamson, Council Assistant
City Manager AC Gonzalez
We are encouraging members of Melshire Estates to place blue ribbons around their trees to show support of our Dallas Police.
Our police station has plenty of food and drinks so we wanted to do something special for the family’s.
